Shahid Kapoor: Nobody wanted to see me and Kareena together hence Jab Wet met didn’t perform that well

Shahid Kapoor was last witnessed in the flick Batti Gul Meter Chalu in which he donned the character of a legal representative. The flick also featured Shraddha Kapoor in the main character together with Yami Gautam. The flick, helmed by Shree Narayan Singh, did a decent business at the box office.

Shahid, who became part of the popular show the podcast, Take 2 with Anupama Chopra and Rajeev Masand, made some frank revelations on Take 2.

When he was questioned on his unrecognized flicks and if he thinks he could have gone further in it, he stated that in terms of amount, he thinks almost all of his flicks have disappointed.

Shahid said, “In terms of numbers, almost all of them should have done better, they’ve always underperformed my movies.”

The chocolate boy added that he sensed Jab We Met could have done much better but the flick was underscores of misery.

“Actually all the films of mine that were good did well. Ya films like Udta, Haider could have done better. Jab we met should have done a lot better than it did but there was always some distress situation at that time. That Film was under a lot of distress. Nobody wanted to see me and Kareena together at that time so it didn’t get a proper release and that happens very often,” he added.

Shahid, who got blessed with a baby boy in recent times, will start shooting for Arjun Reddy shortly. For the flick, he has been getting prepared for sometime now. He will be witnessed alongside Kaira Advani in the flick.

In an exclusive interview with media people, Mira disclosed the secret to her joyful wedding.

She stated, “Our relationship is like any other normal husband and wife. I don’t think anything is different. Shahid shares his work with me just like I share with him the things I do during the day. This is just a part of our lives, not the only part of our lives. Involvement is just about how much a couple is into each other and that’s it.”
