Shashi Tharoor posts fake news on Former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan’s death unknowingly, deletes later

The contemplation and burden caused due to COVID-19 was not been able to get processed, where the news of the demise of Sumitra Mahajan broke the hearts. However, the news that surfaced the nation was utterly a lie creates due to rumours and fake sources.

The power house of Lok Sabha whose voice echoed each corner, is completly fine and well doing in Bombay hospital. The politician and author, Sashi Tharoor broke the news of her passing away to the world through a tweet. Then took the tweet down after learning the real news.


Tharoor wrote, “Saddened to learn of the passing of former LokSabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. I remember many positive interactions with her, including when she & the late Sushma Swaraj asked me to lead a Parliamentary delegation to BRICS in Moscow. My condolences to her family &prayers: OmShanti!” However, after the realness of the situation came out, Shashi reposts a tweet stating, ” I’m relieved if that is so, I received this from what I thought was a reliable source.”

Sumitra Mahajan is a great inclusion in the world of politics voicing out opinions making people hear her. The power house is one of the senior most member of the parliament and had just celebrated her 78th birthday on 12th April.
