Sherlyn Chopra opens up over Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s defamation case against her

Businessman Raj Kundra and his wife, actress Shilpa Shetty have filed a defamation suit of Rs 50 crore against actress Sherlyn Chopra, after she alleged that they have exploited her in the alleged porn racket and Raj Kundra had sexually assaulted and threatened her, following which the actress had lodged a police complaint at the Juhu Police Station on October 14.

The official statement of the suit filed by the duo read, “The entire allegations made by Ms Sherlyn Chopra against Mr Raj Kundra and Ms Shilpa Shetty Kundra , are concocted, false, fake, frivolous, baseless, without any evidence, even to Ms Sherlyn Chopra’s knowledge, and have been made with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money.”

Sherlyn wasn’t one to accept defeat and has already filed a reply notice to their defamation suit. She posted about the same on her Twitter handle, which read, ‘Here are the first & last pages of my Reply Notice, sent by my Legal Team on Oct 23, 2021 to Ripu Sudan alias Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra with reference to their Defamation Notice.’

The statement filed by Sherlyn Chopra’s lawyer Suhail Shariff stated that this was “a weapon to stifle the pursuit of justice” and that it was an attempt to weaken his client by burdening her with such an amount of money.
