The buzz around star kids refuses to die down. Whether it’s supporting Ananya Panday’s social media initiative, or obsessing over Khushi Kapoor’s chic and spiffy fashion choices, our timelines are primarily dominated by the gen-next of Bollywood and we’re just as obsessed as the netizens are.
From fashion to airport looks to their grand debuts, we’ve eagerly been waiting for an update on all of them. But not all celebrity kids like the limelight that much. One such kid is Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Apart from being the legend’s granddaughter, Navya has numerous social media pages dedicated to her fabulous sartorial picks rather than her fashion game.
We just stumbled upon a picture on social media of Shweta and Navya, and we bet you will be hugging your mom all evening too. In this black and white snap, Navya’s snuggling up to her mom and it’s the sweetest picture we’ve seen this Tuesday afternoon.
In an earlier interview, Shweta opened up about Navya’s highly anticipated Bollywood debut. She said, “I think I was excessive, I think I was unfair. I thought I was selfish.”
“Coming from a family that was involved in movies, the second generation was involved in the movies be it my brother or my sister-in-law, I know the heartbreaks and I know it really well. I see their faces when things don’t work out. I see the kind of hate my brother gets on Instagram.
She further added, “Whether you like him as an actor or you don’t or you think he got it easy because he is Amitabh Bachchan’s son, whatever it is I’m his sister and I hated it. It gives me sleepless nights. I don’t want another member of my family to be in this business, for my personal selfish reasons.”
Well it seems, Shweta does not want her daughter to be in movies and that’s perfectly fine, because it’s her and Navya’s personal choice.
