Smriti Irani requests followers to wear mask with a picture of family wearing mask

Union Cabinet Minister for Textiles and Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani shared a picture of her family on Instagram with a significant message on Tuesday night. The picture posted looked like was taken before the family stepped out of their house. In the frame were her husband, Zubin and children, Zohra, Zoish and Shanelle and they can be seen sporting black masks. The former Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress advised everyone to not let their loved ones leave the house without masks. She captioned the post as “My loved ones never leave home without a face cover … don’t let yours either ”

Actress Karishma Tanna couldn’t stop praising the photo and wrote, “Wow what a beautiful family smriti.” Perizaad Zorabian and Amit Sadh are some others who sent their love to Smriti and her family.

Smriti Irani might have switched gears to politics but the former ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ actress hasn’t forgotten how to entertain people. The year 2020 has now made people reach their peak of patience, everyone is sad or irritated and the year doesn’t seems to come to an end. That’s exactly what one of Smriti’s recent post portrays. She took to her Instagram and shared photos, wherein she looks done with the year 2020. She captioned it as, “When you are waiting for 2020 to end.”

Though, this isn’t the first time Smriti Irani has been seen spreading awareness for wearing masks. Recently, she also posted a picture on her Instagram feed asking people to wear handloom masks. She wrote alongside her photo, “Handloom can enrich our daily lives and surroundings in many ways; from clothing to furnishing to Masks in Covid times to wall hanging. Bring home handmade in India!” Smriti added, “I take pride in celebrating India’s legacy, I am #Vocal4Handmade. Are you? Share your pictures with pride in support of our weavers and artisans for we are #Vocal4Handmade.”
