Singer Sona Mohapatra addresses the issues in connection to Raj Kundra’s alleged pornography case on her social media accounts. Raj Kundra’s police custody was extended till July 27 for his alleged involved in the creation and streaming of pornographic videos through mobile apps.

Sona Mohapatra took to her Twitter handle and shared a video featuring herself which seems to be shot in a hotel room with her new song ‘Ek Din’ (Manhattan Memories) playing in the background of the video. So moral custodian’s of #India ,do ponder about such matters in the current #hot #trending topic. ‘Ek Din-Manhattan Memories’ to celebrate my EQUAL billboard in Times Square NYC”.

Sona, sharing a third video, wrote that it is not acceptable trolling people from Bollywood on the basis of Raj Kundra’s case. She wrote, “The #RajKundra blow-up cannot be an excuse to throw lewd comments into our timelines & say things like, you are from #Bollywood & all of you are the same or other s**t. No one has a right to shame, touch or do anything without our consent. Sounds simple enough? #India #LetsTalk”.

Sona also penned a long note on her Instagram handle about how, following news of Raj Kundra’s alleged porn case, many people stigmatized ‘women in the public domain especially in the entertainment industry’.
