Anu Mallik is back on the judge’s seat at Indian Idol 12. He was removed by Sony entertainment television for the heinous accusations on him during the shooting of season 10. He had to leave the show due to various women accused him during the #MeToo movement. He was accused of treating women in a sexually inappropriate way.

Now, Sona Mohapatra has tweeted about how the channel has brought him back.  She went on calling him the ‘India’s Shame’. She even tagged Union Minister Smriti Irani in her tweet to bring this to her notice. Her tweet says, “Many women called him out not only publicly but also reached out to the @NCWIndia & chairman legally. The woman in this article took up matters formally too from South Africa, was ignored. That this guy sits on a judge’s seat on National TV is #India’s Shame. @smiritiirani”.

Sona Mohapatra also responded to a fan’s tweet about Indian Idol and expressed how she felt about the decision. After a user tweeted, “#Indiaidol #sonytv seems like #AnuMalik has been absolved of the #metoo allegations. @sonamohapatra. He is firmly in #judge seat since the past few weeks, Sona responded to the tweet with a simple response, “trash loves trash”.
