Sonali Bendre’s unconventional Diwali celebration with husband Goldie Bahl and son Ranveer

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the entire country was brightened up with lights. While all the biggies of the Bollywood industry celebrated their Diwali in Mumbai, Sonali Bendre brought up the festive in New York with her husband Goldie Bahl and son Ranveer in New York.

Sonali took to her official Instagram handle and shared the pictures from her Diwali Puja. she captioned the photos, “Diwali in New York happens much later in than in Mumbai. Hence, the late wish. It was quite an unconventional one. We didn’t have Indian clothes, we had a small puja. But it was all heart. Happy Diwali everyone. May this year bring you good health, wealth and prosperity. Hope you celebrated with your family and friends, and hope you cherish every moment of happiness with them.”

Sonali has been in news from the month of July after she was diagnosed with serious illness. She shared the heart-wrenching news of her medical condition on social media. Since then, she has been in New York for her treatment.

Sonali is a powerful woman. Everyone including her family and fans is praying for her recovery. Despite being wearied and tire with her treatment she said, ” determined to switch in the sunshine.” Her friends Sussanne Khan and Dia Mirza have continued to keep her book club up and running, and Sonali has expressed her happiness in several Instagram post.

Recently, Sonali attended Priyanka’s bridal shower, along with Neetu Kapoor. Taking it to Instagram she shared a snap from Priyanka Chopra’s bridal shower. Along with Neetu Kapoor. She captioned the photo, “it’s always lovely to be part of someone’s special moment and more for you as you take this next big step. Big hug and much love. P.S. it felt so great and also and also somewhat strange to wear a bright color again.”

Sonali also paid a visit to Rishi Kapoor, who is currently in New York for treatment.
