Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are expecting their first child. The baby will arrive in the fall. Sonam Kapoor has announced her first pregnancy, she took to her Instagram handle to share a few snapshots with her husband Anand Ahuja. It showed Mrs. Kapoor cradling her baby bump while lying on the couch with hubby.

Sharing the pictures on her Instagram handle, the actress captioned the post, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.” Sonam added the hashtags #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022 with her post.

Several celebrities from the film industry and fans wished the couple on their big news. Kareena Kapoor commented, “Wohoooooooo soooo happy for you both. Can’t wait for the babies to play.” Dia Mirza said, “Such wonderful news!!! So happy for you.” Ananya Pandey wrote, “Congratulations.”

The gorgeous duo tied the knot in May 2018. Sonam is the eldest daughter of Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. Ever since her wedding, Sonam had to deny pregnancy rumours multiple times. After fresh rumours surfaced in July last year, Sonam posted a boomerang video in which she was seen drinking a hot drink.

Talking on the work front, Sonam was last seen in the 2019 release The Zoya Factor. The actor was featured along with Dulquer Salmaan. She then had a cameo in Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s AK vs AK, which was released on Netflix in 2020.

Whereas, Anand and Sonam live in their house in London and often visit their parents in Delhi and Mumbai, respectively. Last year in an interview with a news publication Anil had stated that just like every parent everywhere, Sunita (his wife) and he misses their kids when they are away, and they are worried about them constantly. But they also recognise that they are fortunate to live in the age of technology that enables them to see them and speak with them whenever they get anxious, and that’s been a huge relief for them.
