Earlier this year, Sonu was questioned by the Bombay High Court. He withdrew his petition before the Supreme Court and agreed to demolish the building/unauthorized hotel back into residential premises. As per the India Today report, the BMC notice stares that he (Sonu) have stated in his reply to the notice in July that he have discontinued the activity of lodging or boarding in the six storey building and promised to use it for residential purpose only. But the office inspected on 20 October that it is under the same state and no changes have been made. Responding to the notice, the Dabangg star said that he had already made the necessary changes and have submitted the work in progress details to BMC. Moreover, he even added that he isn’t doing any illegal activity there and it will continue to remain a residential structure.
