Tiger Shroff And Ananya Panday Starrer SOTY 2 Release Date Now Pushed For Next Year

Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey starrer Dharma Production’s next sequel of 2012 film Student Of The Year will release in May 2019. SOTY 2 first finalized for the release on 23 November 2018 but now it will hit the theatres next year on May. Student Of The Year 2 was directed by Punit Malhotra and distributed via Fox Star Studios.

Producer KJO aka Karan Johar shared an official poster of SOTY2 along with release date on micro-blogging site Twitter today. He captioned it, “Summer 2019!!!! 10.05.2019 !! 10th MAY 2019! Summer gets hotter!!! @punitdmalhotra @iTIGERSHROFF #Ananya #Tara @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies @foxstarhindi #StudentOfTheYear2”

Tiger Shroff also tweeted about the new release date and the poster. He wrote, “Summer 2019 here we come #SOTY2 @karanjohar @punitdmalhotra @apoorvamehta18 #Tara #Ananya @punitdmalhotra @DharmaMovies @foxstarhindi”

However, a recent source revealed that the team will be shooting for next 2 months at Dehradun, Mussoorie and Rishikesh then they move to Delhi. The source added, “After the Dehradun schedule, the crew will return to Mumbai and then head to Pune for another month-long schedule. The crew will also be shooting a dance song, which was earlier slated to be shot in Mumbai before the Dehradun schedule. But now there is some change in the schedule and the song will be shot in June.”

As well as, the report says the previous students are coming again. Yes, to all the burning excitement of wanting the previous stars back in SOTY2 this news will give a cool chill. Two students of the three are coming back and they are hot actors Varun and Siddharth.  It would be really exciting to see all of them together.

The film will mark the debut of Ananya Pandey who is Chunkey Pandey’s daughter. It will also be Tara Sutaria’s debut film who is best known for her show ‘Suit Life Of Karan And Kabir.’

Recently, the news did rounds that hadak star Ishaan Khatter was also supposed to be a part of the film, but due to his break up with Tara, Karan Johar thought that it would not be wise to cast the ex-lovers together and therefore, Ishaan lost the film.
