Bollywood actor, SRK has earned massive popularity with his dynamic performances in Indian cinema. It’s been more than 25 years and SRK has just grown with his success. The actor came into prominence in the early 90s with his superhit films like Deewana (1992), Darr (1993), Baazigar (1993) and others.
But the actor garnered huge stardom with his film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ), opposite Kajol. The movie was not a blockbuster at that time but still managed to make its way to the theatres for over two years.
Recently, in an interview, SRK revealed that what his close friend and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had told him after watching the film.
SRK stated, “The first person outside the production who saw the film and said ‘it’s a great one’ was my friend Salman Khan.”
DDLJ was directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Raj Films. It was released in 1995. The movie featured stellar performances by Kajol, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Mandira Bedi, and others. The movie was the highest grosser movie of that year.
Meanwhile, SRK and Salman have been good friends for a very long time. However, the two actors had a huge fallout earlier in 2008. And it took a long period of 7 years for the two actors to be friends again. The two had also starred together in movies like Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Karan Arjun. Shah Rukh had also appeared in a cameo in Salman Khan’s Tubelight that went on screens in 2017. SRK’ latest release Zero too had Salman’s special appearance.
