On Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 143rd birth anniversary on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Statue of Liberty in Gujarat’s Narmada district. The statue measures 182 meters in height. This height was picked to match that total of Assembly constituencies in the state Gujarat. This statue also beats China’s Spring Temple Buddha which was amongst the world’s tallest statue and it is twice the size of the Statue of Liberty in the US.
