Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is no less than a celebrity. She is already a famous personality before entering the film business. She is quite a sensation on social media. Today she took to her social media handle and gave her fans a glimpse of the recent book she seems to be reading.
She shared the pictures on her Instagram stories. The title of the book is Queen Meryl: The Iconic Roles, Heroic Deeds, and Legendary Life of Meryl Streep. This book celebrates iconic Hollywood actress Meryl Streep. By her post, it looks like she is following the legendary Hollywood artist and hence is preparing well to face the camera and follow her father into films.
Apart from this, recently Suhana also wrote a big note and slammed messages in which she was being called Kaali. While sharing the screenshots of her comments and DM in the post, she wrote on her official Instagram account, ”Here are just a few of the comments made about my appearance. I’ve been told I do not look good because of my skin tone, by full-grown men and women, since I was 12 years old. Other than the fact that these are actually elder people, what’s sad is that we are all Indian, which automatically makes us brown – yes we come in different shades but no matter how much you try to distance yourself from the melanin, you just can’t. Hating on your own people just means that you are painfully insecure.”
She also requested that colourism should come to an end and said, ”I am sorry if social media, Indian matchmaking or even your own families have convinced you that if you’re not 5″7 and fair, you’re not beautiful. I hope it helps to know that I am 5’3” and brown and I am extremely happy about it and you should be too. #endcolourism.”
