Discussing some of the individuals who were behind the curtains being unknown amid the stardom of famous actors who kept their nose on grindstone and pull out all the stops. 1. Smriti Zubin Irani 

The former HRD Minister and the current Minister of Textiles and Women Child Development started her career as a struggling model. She is known for a variety of things her political alliance with BJP and her iconic yet celebrated character ‘Tulsi’ about which mainly the media outlets talk about but a lot of people don’t know about is the former actress featured in Mika Singh’s music video “Boliyan” in 1998 as a background dancer. The potage is quite embarrassing.

 2. Farah Khan 

One of the most surprising and jaw-dropping throwbacks is to see Farah Khan as a background dancer in the 1986 movie SadaSuhagan. The well-known director and choreographer can be seen in the song “Hum hain naujawan” matching steps with Govinda. The celebrity has definitely come a long way and established herself in the industry with utmost success from 1986.

 3. Saroj Khan 

When you think of the most renowned and respected choreographers Saroj Khan comes to everyone’s mind as an individual that has dedicated many years to the Bollywood industry. Saroj Khan has choreographed more than 2000 songs. One of the best throwbacks is to see a young Saroj Khan as a boy feature in the song “Aaiye Meherbaan” in the 1958 movie ‘Howrah Bridge’. It reflects on the long and celebrated journey the choreographer has had.

4. Deepika Padukone  

In recent times, the highest-paid actress of Bollywood Deepika Padukone also had a humble journey in Bollywood but what others don’t know about that in her struggling days Deepika used to be a background model and dancer.  She finally got a big break in Himesh Reshammiya’s music album, ‘Naam hai tera” and aftermath Farah Khan cast her for the film, “Om Shanti Om” and since then there is no coming back.

 5. Sushant Singh Rajpoot

An actor that has gained a lot of critical acclaims and commercial success with his character ‘Manav’ from Pavitra Rishta was the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Kai Po Che star was known for making a transition from TV to Silver Screen but what has been under the rock is even before joining the Industry Sushant in his engineering days was a part of Shiamak Davar’s dance group and also performed as a background dancer and shared the stage with Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan in IIFA Awards 2006 edition.
