Television stars have been busy resuming their works after a long break due to lockdown. We have been getting news on a daily basis that the show makers are taking proper precautions for the cast and crew members so that they can feel safe and secure.

Almost all the top-notch shows are slowly recommencing the works while following proper guidelines set by the administration. Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4, Kumkum Bhagya, Kundli Bhagya, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, amongst many others have already started the filming a few days back but the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah were yet to commence the work.

And now the wait is finally over as the makers of TV’s most popular and longest-running shows, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma restarted the work from today. At this time, the actors (Tapu Sena) are present in their film city set, filming for the novel episodes. Tapu (Raj Anadkat), Sonu (Palak Sidhwani), Gogi (Samay Shah), Goli (Kush Shah), Pinku (Azhar Shaikh) are all set to entertain their viewers again with their madness.


Recently, a source stated, “The makers are deliberating on how to go forward in the best possible way. They are worried about the safety of the cast and crew and with the restrictions in place, how to accommodate a huge cast like theirs and bank episodes. Plus, not all the cast members on the same page and have raised their respective concerns which is why the delay in resuming works. They are also weighing other options to work, which is not risky and safe for all.”

In the meantime, while talking on the work getting resumed and also addressing the matter of pay cuts, producer Asit Modi had told us, “It’s true we are not resorting to pay cuts and I will try my best that in future too, that we don’t have to take such measures. I will also not be forcing any of my actors to come on the set and work if they are uncomfortable. It will be their decision and I will respect it.”
