Tara Sutaria Opens up on Rumors About Dating Sidharth Malhotra, Says ‘Fireworks toh hai’

Actor Tara Sutaria, who is currently gearing up for her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s, Student of the Year 2, has finally opened up on rumors that she is dating Sidharth Malhotra. Sidharth who made his debut in the prequel of SOTY 2 is neighbors with Tara, and the duo has been linked to each other for some time now.

While speaking with Ishq FM during the promotion of the film, Tara did deny the fact that she is dating Sidharth but she did say that their chemistry is “fireworks”.  She further added, “No we are not dating each other. He’s my padosi and love thy neighbour for sure I mean why not? But well, we are just great friends.”

Fellow debutant Ananya Panday and their co-star Tiger Shroff, who also accompanied Tara for the interview, kept pulling her leg and she added, “We talk often…we talk about our film..I also got my second film with him. Of course, we also talk about other things too..Ananya, Tiger (laughs). It’s the whole padosi pyaar kind of a lovely chat.”

When quizzed about rumors of Tara and Sidharth working together in the upcoming film-Marjaavan- Tara said about their chemistry, “Fireworks toh hai” (There are fireworks).

Student of the Year 2 is slated to hit theatres on 10 May, as the sequel to the first installment of Student of the Year, marking the debuts of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in 2012.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, SOTY 2 makers have released two songs from the film, The Jawani song, and Mumbai Dilli Di Kudiyaan. While the first one was a remake of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani from the 1970s, the second song is being compared to Radha song from Student of The Year.

Furthermore, Alia Bhatt has been roped in for a special song alongside Tiger Shroff, with the title as ‘Hook Up Song’. The duo of Alia Bhatt and Tiger Shroff will be seen dancing together on Tuesday when the new number will be released.
