Television show ‘Jag Janani Maa Vaishnodevi’ to go off air on October 3

As the lockdown took over the country, the life took a little pause. With that we saw the entertainment industry taking a halt as well. But, soon the government relaxed a few restrictions and the television and Bollywood got back to work. While a lot of television shows restarted their shows, a few started with a moto to wrap up the story. One such show is ‘Jag Janani Maa Vaishnodevi’.

Mythological show ‘Jag Janani Maa Vaishnodevi’, which is based on the life of Goddess Vaishno Devi, is all set to wrap up on October 2. The show that went on air in September 2019, was recently hitting the headlines after its lead actress Puja Banerjee was replaced. Puja, who is expecting to be a mother soon, wanted to take a break. Actress Paridhi Sharma had replaced Puja in June.

While the actress, Paridhi Sharma talked about the show coming to an end, she talked about how beautiful the journey was. She said that it was amazing that she got to essay the lead role in a mythological show. She also added how the challenge of filming during the lockdown was an amazing experience.

Paridhi also mentioned that this wouldn’t have been a smooth ride without the support of producers, Rashmi Sharma and Pavan Kumar. She further mentioned how she personally took precautions while filming. Moreover, she was happy to go back to Indore to her family and spend some time with them.

While actress Toral Rasputra, who played Rani Samriddhi, mother of little Vaishnavi, had quit the show before lockdown. It was because the show was taking a leap and Toral was not ready to play mother to a grown-up Vaishnav.

According to sources, producer Mahesh Pandey’s comedy show will replace ‘Jag Janaani Maa Vaishnodevi. The show will be titled as ‘Gupta Brothers Chaar Kunware From Ganga Kinare.’
