Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s elder brother dies at 54; Chiranjeevi tweets condolence message

According to media reports, On Saturday, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s elder brother Ghattamaneni Ramesh Babu passed away at 56. He was an actor-producer and was suffering from a liver ailment. BA Raju, the film producer confirmed the news on his Twitter handle. The film producer tweeted, “it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ramesh Babu Guru……avoid gathering at the cremation venue.”

Actor Chiranjeevi also tweeted. His tweet reads, “Shocked and deeply saddened by the demise of Shri. G Ramesh Babu……gives strength to the family to cope with the tragic loss.” On the other hand, Ramesh Varma, Director also shared his condolence message on his twitter handle. The director wrote, “Shocked to hear this…..Om Shanti Om.”

According to the sources, on Thursday Mahesh Babu had tested positive for COVID-19 and is under home quarantine. The actor took to his respective Instagram handle and wrote, “I have tested positive for COVID-19……have been following medical guidance.”

Coming back to Ghattamaneni Ramesh Babu, as we all know, he made his acting debut at the age of 12. Also, he did his first solo hero role in 1987 and had retired from acting in 1997, and later he turned producer.
