Salman Khan movies never boast of a sturdy tale, content, and yet, they are comprehensively enjoyable, at least the majority of them have been lately. But, the last two films have been very unpredictable, both in terms of story and BO numbers too.

His 2017 movie Tubelight, was criticized by reviewers and admirers alike and his last offering Race 3 bagged similarly depraved reviews, yet Tubelight earned more than Rs 114 crore at Indian BO whilst Race 3 raked in over Rs 166 crore.

Nothing else other than Salman Khan’s major prominence is accountable for safeguarding that these terrible films did such gigantic biz and 99% of Bollywood flicks, with decent content, are incapable of doing.

Even the actor comprehends this extent of his recognition as he was caught saying something on the same at the show for LoveYatri, a movie, which will launch his loving sister Arpita Khan’s hubby, Aayush Sharma.

β€œI am one of the fortunate ones that even my flop films do business of over Rs 100 crore. I told Aayush and Warina that even if you deliver a flop film it should do Rs 160 crore at the box office.. So now they have pressure of flop film.” – Salman Khan told to media people.

Salman also talked over the charges on nepotism and claimed that if it was not him then some other person would have introduced his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma as the hopeful star is brilliant and has all the features of a film star.

The actor said, “He has been training hard. I knew this nepotism thing would come up.. He is son of a politician how can you put him into this nepotism thing. This is the only one place where nepotism cannot work at all. It is the audience that will make you a superstar or will reject you no matter whose son or a brother-in-law you are.”

When we talk over the work projects of the actor, Salman Khan is all set to leave for Abu Dhabi to shoot the next agenda for his forthcoming movie Bharat that also features Katrina Kaif, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover and Disha Patani among others.

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, this is the second time, the filmmaker is making a film with Sallu & Kat after the blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai.
