Akshay Kumar’s author wife Twinkle Khanna is all set to embark on a new journey. The lady is due to launch a digital platform called ‘Tweak’. She opened about in an interview about the same and also shared her experiences with Waheed Rehmana and Malala Yousafzai. Twinkle also explained about her social media differences from her husband, Akshay, read on.
When questioned if she was a bit late foraying into the digital media platforms Twinkle had a simple answer. She said she became a writer at the age of 39, so it’s not late yet. When questioned about how the name ‘Tweak’ came about Twinkle said that she had a few other names but then one day she suddenly had the idea of the word Tweak.
“What we’re going really is tweaking, we’re not inventing the wheel, we’re tweaking it,” she was quoted saying as per The Quint.
When questioned about the difference between Twinkle’s own social media posts and how she criticises Modi, while on the other hand Akshay cheers for the PM, Twinkle added, “We are two very different people, the only thing we have in common is that we wake up early. That is all we have in common, then, today and tomorrow. We’ve learnt how to navigate our differences, that’s all.”
Twinkle then revealed further insight about her interview with Waheeda Rehman, and how she found that Waheeda ji still had a child enthusiasm in her at the age of 81. Twinkle also recalled the time when she had an opportunity to interact with Malala Yousafzai over a skype call.
She said she had prepared question but once the discussion started all the prep went out of the window and it was just an organic conversation. When further pressed about who twinkle would like to interview next after the launch of ‘Tweak’ she took the name of author Neil Gaiman.
