Uri: The Surgical Strike was a perfect Bollywood script. The movie featured Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam and is considered another film in the genre. The film was based on the surgical strike carried out by the Indian army on September 29, 2016. It was high on patriotism and paid tribute to the spirit of the Indian Armed Forces. The film received a positive response from the critics and crossed over Rs 200- crore in a month.
Well, it been two months now, but the movie is a big hit in the theatres. The film is still running in theatres successfully. The movie has collected Rs 240.22 crore at the box office in 53 days of its release which also makes it the tenth highest grosser ever.
