B-Town’s one of the popular actor Varun Dhawan bagged the best actor award for his film October at the 9th Jagran Film Festival. The movie was released this year on April 18 and got good reviews from the critics and now finally Varun’s work has got good appreciation in an honorable way.
Movie October is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language slice of life romantic drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, and produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar under their Rising Sun Films banner. It stars Varun Dhawan, Banita Sandhu, and Gitanjali Rao.
The 31-year-old actor recently expressed his feelings on Twitter and wrote, “Won best actor for #October. The Shiuli flower has a lifespan only for a night but I have a feeling October will live on forever @ShoojitSircar @writeonj @ronnielahiri (sic).”

Undoubtedly Varun is one of the finest actors of this era and he started his film career in the year 2012 where he did the debut role in the movie Student Of The Year. He has given only 6 years in Bollywood till now, but his work is tremendously appreciated by the people.
The young actor has great energy and good dancing skills, his movie Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya was also named in one of the super hit movies of the year 2017 and collected 194.81 crores approx.
From the professional point of view, Varun’s recently released film Sui Dhaaga-Made In India which is gaining good appraisal from the people and critics as well. Helmed by Sharat Katariya, the movie is Varun’s first time sharing the screen with actress Anushka Sharma.
With the upcoming movies, he will be seen playing the character in Kalank along with Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit which is directed by Abhishek Verman would again be an anticipation among the audience.
