Today, December 3, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal will have their court wedding in Mumbai, after which they will travel to Rajasthan for their traditional wedding. The wedding activities will begin on December 7th and end on December 10th, with Sangeet on December 7th, Mehendi on December 8th, Haldi on December 9th, ceremony on December 9th, and reception on December 10th.
There have been a lot of rumours about who will be attending the wedding, and it was recently rumoured that Salman Khan and his family will not be going. Arpita Khan, Salman’s sister and Katrina’s BFF, confirmed the same to a portal, saying that neither she nor her family had received an invitation.
While this may come as a surprise to some, given Katrina’s close relationship with Salman, it is a well-considered move. According to our sources, the couple has decided not to invite any of their exes or anybody with whom they have previously been associated to their wedding. This includes Salman, who went from being Katrina’s co-star to mentor, claimed boyfriend, buddy, and advisor in a matter of months. Similarly, while she has a strong bond with Alia Bhatt and it is customary to invite people alongside their partners, Ranbir Kapoor has not been invited. Similarly, despite sharing a friend group, Vicky Kaushal’s ex has been omitted off the guest list.
According to reports, the pair does not want any awkwardness around them on their wedding day, thus anyone who is close to the said people has been taken off the wedding guest list, including their exes. Because the shaadi in Rajasthan is already a very intimate ceremony with just close friends and family members in attendance, it was also easy for Vicky and Katrina to filter out the names on the guest list that made them uncomfortable, regardless of their current relationship with them.
