Vicky Kaushal is the name we keep hearing now and then every day. He has been praised many times for his acting skills and he has even won the hearts of people. He has managed to create some space in Bollywood industry and has already a huge fan following.

He played an army officer torn between his love for wife and nation in Raazi, then he also redefined friendship goals in the movie Sanju. He took his acting a step higher with Anurag Kashyap’s recent release Manmarziyaan. There is no doubt that the actor is versatile and has some skills which we all crave to see in actors these days.

We must say that 2018 marked the entry of Vicky Kaushal and it has Vicky written all over it. With three outstanding performances, Kaushal is slowly and steadily making his place in Bollywood.

But it hasn’t been an easy journey for the 30-year-old actor. Despite being an action director’s son, he wanted to make it into the film industry on his own. After assisting Kashyap in Gangs of Wasseypur, he played minor roles in director’s two productions. But it was 2015 film Masaan which changed it all for Vicky. His first lead role got him accolades and recognition, and like the rest, as we all know, is history.

He goes down the memory lane. He thinks about his journey and recently shared a picture from his audition days and wrote:

Once upon a time, when I would say “Sir, am I fit for the audition?” even in my sleep. God has been kind in my journey so far 😊🙏 Also, I have grown an inch taller since then, don’t know if this is even possible after a certain age.

Have a look at what he posted:

In a picture from 2012, Vicky looks almost unrecognisable as a 24-year-old gearing up for another audition.

Vicky, who was last seen in Manmarziyaan, is on a professional high. Talking about his role in Manmarziyaan, he told a leading daily, “I unleashed my wilder side in Manmarziyaan while playing the character, who is impulsive, colourful, does things without thinking too much… He is free. I rarely got a chance to colour my hair blue and wear such colourful clothes, put a lot of tattoo on my body- in real life. But somewhere that side is hidden in me.”

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will be next seen in Uri.
