Famous filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is currently busy with his upcoming and most awaited film Shikara. The trailer of the movie has received a positive reaction from the audience and critics alike. Not just the audience but famous celebrities are hailing Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming piece of art.

Shikara has now been endorsed by the famous director James Cameron, who has directed some top-notch films like Titanic and Avatar. To tell you, the makers of Shikara have recently released a new teaser of the film and it ends with a short description of James Cameron where he called the trailer “A Masterpiece”. This is really overwhelming news for all the movie buffs who are waiting for its release.

For the unversed, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Shikara is based on the mass exodus of 400,000 Kashmiri Pandits who were forced to leave the Kashmir valley in the mid-90s. Shikara is a tribute to the Kashmiri Pandits and the movie stars newbies Aadil Khan as Shiv Kumar Dhar and Sadia as Shanti Dhar. Shikara: The Untold Story Of Kashmiri Pandits is all set to hit the big screens on 7th February 2020.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has given many blockbuster hits to the industry like 1942: A Love Story, Mission Kashmir, Parineeta, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S was away from the Bollywood industry as a director and his upcoming film Shikara marks his comeback as a director after his 2007 release, Eklavya. The movie featured many Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.
