With films like Zindagi Za Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Rock On! and more, Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has carved a niche for himself. Not only has he won the hearts of many with his acting prowess, but the actor’s phenomenal on-screen performance has given his peer a run for their money.
The actor was last seen in The Fakir of Venice, and he is currently working hard to be in his top shape for his next flick which will be directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, titled Toofan. The story revolves around the life of a boxer.
Recently, he has been sharing a lot of videos about his preparation for the same and has been making his fans anticipating the role of a professional boxer. Later today, he took to his Instagram account to share a clip in which he is seen sharpening his boxing skills. He captioned the video, “It’s never over till the trainer says it’s over.”
Earlier in an interview with PTI, filmmaker Rakeysh opened up about the forthcoming project and said, “I am most excited for the film. I can’t talk much because we haven’t even started shooting. We are planning to go on the floors by the end of the year. Both Farhan and I are getting to work with each other after six years. We have always been bouncing ideas off each other.”
“Anjum Rajabali has written this very endearing love story of a boxer, it’s not a real-life figure but a fictitious character. What I liked the most about it (the story) was that it has a new voice. It’s set among the lower middle class. Boxing is not a rich man’s sport, anywhere in the world,” he further added.
Farhan is also gearing up for another movie alongside Priyanka Chopra, titled ‘The Sky is Pink’.
