On Women’s Day Sachin Tendulkar Turns Chef, Cooks Baingan Bharta and His Mom Loves it; Watch VIDEO

Former Indian Batsman, Sachin Tendulkar celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8. The famous cricketer who is known for his abilities with the bat gave a shot to cook for the most important women in his life -his mother, wife Anjali, and daughter Sara. On the special day, Tendulkar decided to do something sweet for his mother and wife and daughter Sara. Therefore the batsman turned chef to cook baingan bharta.

Taking it to Twitter, Sachin Tendulkar shared the video of himself tgat give us a glimpse of his action. He tweeted, “This Women’s Day, let’s do something special for the important women in our lives. Join me and share your own sweet gestures of love using See Her Smile Happy Women’s Day.” Take a look at the full video below:

Tendulkar learned cooking from his mother and usually makes delicious dishes for family and friends. And on Friday, he was spotted in the kitchen while making Baingan Bharta. Earlier in 1990s Tendulkar had made baingan ka bharta for the entire Indian team at Ajay Jadeja’s home.

Sachin wanted his mother to taste the dish first. Sharing a video he said, “This bharta is for my mother, Anjali, and Sara. I want my mother to taste this first because she spent hours and hours cooking this for me when I was a kid.”

Also in the video, Tendulkar goes on to ask his mother to taste the baingan bharta which he made, for which, the Master Blaster got a thumbs up.

“So we are in my mother’s room and as always, she is praying. I don’t want to disturb her but maybe ask her to taste a little bit and see what happens,” he mentions before giving the dish to his mother.

“I made baingan bharta, see if you like it. Tell me if tastes like how you make it. Is it spicy?” he asked his mother.

“No, turned out well. It’s really tasty.” Tendulkar’s mom said.

The video comes to n end where Tendulkar is telling everyone about how mothers react even if their son fails. In the end, he says, “That’s how mothers are. Even if you fail in any attempt, they never tell you.”

 

Sachin is a well-known foodie and can cook up some lovely dishes. His love for food is no secret. A while ago, he shared a photo of a delicious meal at the Bukhara. He captioned it as, “The tandoor kebabs were simply mouthwatering,”
