Actress Yami Gautam was spotted at Mumbai airport on Friday. She was seen wearing a maroon salwar kameez and a black mask. The paparazzi’s were taking photos when she came out of the terminal and one of them asked why her husband, filmmaker Aditya Dhar did not accompany her.

In the video shared by a paparazzo account, one of the photographers asks Yami Gautam, “Aditya sir nahi aaye?” to which the actress smiled and replied as “Shooting meri hai toh woh kaise aayenge (I am the one who has to go for a shoot, so why will he be with me)?”. She also told everyone to ‘stay safe’.

Yami got married to Aditya on June 4 in an inmate ceremony. The couple announced the news sharing same Instagram posts, said that they celebrated the occasion with their ‘immediate family’ as ‘being very private people’.

Recently, speaking to Hindustan Times, Yami spoke about their love story and said that it started during the promotion of their movie ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. She said “That’s when we started talking. I wouldn’t call it dating. But yeah, that was a time when we started interacting with each other and started a friendship”.

Talking about realizing that Aditya is ‘the one’, Yami told “You just know it in your gut. It’s not something that you can really describe. You just know it. When you start understanding the person’s value system, and what family he belongs to. You don’t have to have similarities or share common things in your interests, but have similarities in your value system and in your ethics. And we share that a lot. I have a lot of respect for Aditya and I had a lot of respect for him as a professional and as a person. I respect him for who he is”.

On the work front, Yami Gautam will be seen in ‘Bhoot Police’ along with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. It will be released on September 17 on Disney+Hotstar.
