After 3 Years, Anita Bhabhi Aka Soumya Tandon To Quit Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain

Television show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ has been receiving loads of love of the audience since its release. It is now one of the longest-running shows on small screen. Though, the show always surrounded with controversies but it doesn’t effect its strong viewership.

Now after Shilpa Shinde’s controversial exit, another actress is leaving the show. She is Anita Vibhuti Narayan aka Soumya Tandon who is playing one the most popular characters Gori Mem of the show. As per the sources, the actress is currently serving her notice period. Initially, she quit the show in March and will wind up her notice period by August this year.

Soumya Tandon rose fame after her popular role Roop in tv show Geet. The producer of the show Benaifer Kohli while talking about her exit said, “Saumya suffered from a bout of Hepatitis B and was unwell for a while. But, now she has recovered and is back on sets.”

However, as per a report she wants to experiment and try portraying different roles and has decided to bid goodbye to Bhabhiji. Now, it is to see who will replace Soumya to play one of the most loved characters on the show.

But, now she took to Twitter confirmed that and also inform her fans why she is leaving the show. She said, “Hey thanks for the concern, I had a liver infection so was on a leave for a week, have been shooting in Naigaon for Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain since 3 days.”

“You cannot make anyone sign an exclusivity contract like that. Why are you trying to spoil our career? I am giving you my 25 days or so, what is the problem if I do other shows in between,” Shilpa told when she left. She added, “I never signed that contract. In fact, I came on board after Rashmi Desai left the part abruptly. I helped them when they needed. Today, they are spreading rumours that I threw tantrums on the set. That is sheer mental torture.”
