If you have somehow missed the memo, the original song from Humse Hai Muqabla–that introduced us to South’s dancing idol Prabhudheva, don’t worry at all, the song is making a come back albeit in a novel avatar with Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani shaking legs to the melodious beats.

As per latest reports, the recreated edition of Urvashi, the epic from the Prabhudheva-Nagma-starrer 1994 Tamil movie Kadhalan, the Bhushan Kumar-produced number gets a new life.

The song will not be part of any movie, however, is a special music video. Yes, handsome hunk Shahid, who had worked in a lot of music videos before making entry to film biz, will return to it for this one time.

Why are we repeating the version this fine morning? Well, because Shahid just teased us with a special preview of the video and the wait appears longer now.

While sharing the teaser, Shahid wrote, “Take it easy #Urvashi @kiaraaliaadvani @yyhsofficial #BhushanKumar @directorgifty @tseries.official @hungamamusic ”

The number that will get composed by ace personality Yo Yo Honey Singh has already been filmed and the buffs are eagerly waiting for it.

Well-known choreographer Sanjay Shetty had previously told media people, “We’ve changed the lyrics, but the hook line remains the same. The song, however, doesn’t showcase a love story but a new-age relationship between Shahid and Kiara. Even the choreography is contemporary. We are shooting on a club set in Film City. We also filmed at a parking lot on Sunday to give the video an underground kind of a feel. Kiara is a fab dancer.”

Taking to his Twitter handle, Yo Yo Honey Singh shared the announcement and wrote, ‘Mashallah!! #Urvashi is coming to steal your hearts. @shahidkapoor @advani_kiara @itsBhushanKumar @tseries @hungamamusic @directorgifty @rdmmedia @bobbysuri #Urvashi’

Kiara admitted that although she was happy about featuring in the well-known number, she was nervous too. “I know the pressure one goes through when a classic song is recreated. There will be comparisons. This could be my ode to Prabhu sir, I am his huge fan,” said the actress.

“We all know Shahid is a great dancer, I was nervous about matching up to his skills, but he was super fun to work with. We were in sync from the word go,” Kiara said.
