‘You have to unlearn what you have learned earlier’, Paresh Rawal’s advice on son Aditya’s debut

Actor Paresh Rawal has done dynamic roles in all of his films. From being a comedian to his villainous roles, he has aced all the characters he played. Now, the son of the veteran actor is ready to give his acting debut.

Aditya Rawal, son of Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat, is going to make his debut with an OTT release. It is a Zee5 original film which is named ‘Bamfaad’. Talking about how he landed in the film, Aditya said that he had auditioned with Taran Bajaj some years ago and when he (Taran) read the script, he got reminded of the audition and chose him for the part.

About his role in Anurag Kashyap’s Bamfaad, Aditya is playing a protagonist named Nasir Jamal (Naate), who does not shy away from any conflict and does before he thinks. As the film’s name suggests, the character of Aditya is very explosive.

Aditya revealed that the film was not meant to be an OTT release initially. However, the pandemic has made the makers change their decision as no one knows when the theatres will open and thus, they decided to release it on Zee5 as it is a platform with great reach.

On Aditya’s debut, his father Paresh Rawal advised him to have fun on the set to be spontaneous. ‘You have to unlearn what you have learned earlier. The preparation is very important but once you step on set, it’s about being in that moment and having the most fun that you can because that is what translates into a great performance’, father Paresh Rawal said to Aditya Rawal.
