As everyone knows, the latest flagship of the iPhones were launched on 14th September. Along with iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, a new edition of the popular Apple Watch and iPad were also introduced.
What’s surprising is that in the launch video of the new iPhone, we can hear a tune playing, heavily inspired by the cult classic song, ‘Dum Maaro Dum’. The very same tune also played when Apple CEO Tim Cook came in the auditorium to present the new array of gadgets.
While Twitter users went berserk after getting to know this, veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who was a part of the song along with late actor Dev Anand, couldn’t hold back her astonishment. When asked about the same, she replied, “Wow! 1971 music still resonating after 40 years! What a song!” She added, “The film was shot in Kathmandu and when I frankly heard this song for the first time, I loved it but surely didn’t expect it to become such a mammoth chartbuster. They all talk to me about this when I am at any music event even today.”
The song, which was sung by Asha Bhosle and composed by legendary composer RD Burman, was from the movie ‘Hare Ram Hare Krishna’. Directed by Dev Anand, the film starred himself along with Zeenat Aman and Mumtaz.
